It’s been quite a year! 2020 and the COVID-19 virus has taken a toll on all of us, but the Navajo community has felt its impact the hardest.

Navajo Santa has been pushed to act in innovative ways. While we’ve continued to operate our core programs (albeit with some adjustments), we focused much of our efforts on COVID-19 relief. This past year, Navajo Santa purchased literally “tons” of food, PPE materials, and other necessities and distributed these items to Navajo families, elders, and students living in the communities of Aneth, Bluff, Douglas Mesa, Halchita, Little Water, Mexican Hat, Montezuma Creek, Monument Valley, Navajo Mountain, Oljato, Red Mesa, Rock Point, Sweet Water, and TeecNosPos. In all, more than 1,000 individuals were served. Thank you to all of our volunteers and to American Express, George S. and Dolores Dore Eccles Foundation, Emma Eccles Foundation, Ken Garff, Wasatch Container, and the many amazing humans for their financial and volunteer support.

If you haven’t done so already, we hope you will consider making a year-end donation. Ya’at’eeh Keshmish and Thank you!
