NAVAJO SANTA GOES TO SCHOOL RETURNS
TO ANETH COMMUNITY SCHOOL
August 20, 2010

ANETH, UT. — For the second time since the inception of the Navajo Santa Goes to School program in 2004, Aneth Community School was again the recipient of Navajo Santa's generosity.

As in the past with this program each student recieved a backpack filled with school and art supplies, a sweatshirt emblazoned with their school mascot, an oral hygiene kit and dental program, an eye examination and glasses if needed. A check for one thousand dollars was presented to the school administration to be used for funding of the project of their choice.

Aneth Community School was visited by Navajo Santa in September 2005 as our second Navajo Santa Goes To School program. Navajo Santa Goes To School’s goal is to help reinforce the idea that education is a transformative opportunity and to encourage Navajo children to stay in school.
